Systems Engineer – Managed Service Operations

The Role

We are currently seeking a Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. If you are passionate about technology, possess a strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, Storage, Hardware, and VMWare technologies, especially in Microsoft products, and are committed to providing exceptional support and solutions, we would love to have you on board.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement, configure, and manage Microsoft products, including MS Windows servers, SQL, O365, Azure, Exchange, Active Directory, WSUS, and Intune.

  • Provide support for network installation, configuration, and maintenance.

  • Operate and manage VLAN tagging, VMware snapshots, storage provisioning, and perform common tasks within the VMWare Environment.

  • Manage VMWare technologies, especially in ESX/ESXi, with specific knowledge of VSphere, VMotion, VCenter, and other enterprise-level toolsets.

  • Maintain documentation and assets inventories.

  • Generate daily/weekly/monthly reports to track systems health.

  • Ability to work extended office hours as needed.

 

Skill Requirements

  • Proficiency in MS Windows servers, SQL, O365, Azure, Exchange, Active Directory, DHCP/DNS, Group policy, WSUS, and Intune.

  • Experience with Exchange server 2013/2016.

  • Knowledge in managing Sophos Cloud Central or any other antivirus applications.

  • Basic network knowledge in routers, switches, and firewalls.

  • Reasonable experience working with storage devices such as Dell storage, DataDomain, SAN switch, etc.

  • Exposure to backup tools such as EMC Networker, Veeam, Commvault, Backup Exec.

  • Knowledge in monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, ManageEngine, Kiwi, etc.).

  • Excellent customer handling skills and understanding of customer expectations.

  • Positive attitude and teamwork capabilities

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Relevant certifications in Microsoft, VMWare, and other related technologies.
