NOC Analyst – Managed Service Operations

The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled for an NOC Analyst to join our dynamic team. As an NOC Analyst, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and maintaining the health of our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize N-able monitoring tools to proactively monitor the performance and availability of network

  • Identify and escalate issues, anomalies, and potential areas of concern.

  • Respond promptly to network incidents and outages.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve network issues efficiently.

  • Analyze alerts generated by N-able monitoring tools, determine their significance, and take appropriate actions.

  • Prioritize and categorize alerts based on severity and impact.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, procedures, and incident resolution steps.

  • Generate reports on network performance and incidents as required.

  • Collaborate with other IT teams and external vendors to address complex network issues and implement solutions.

  • Participate in regular meetings to share insights, discuss ongoing issues, and contribute to continuous improvement.

  • Identify opportunities for performance improvement and optimization of network resources.

      

Academic & Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a NOC Analyst or in a similar role.

  • Strong understanding of network protocols, architectures, and technologies.

  • Experience with N-able or similar network monitoring tools.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Basic knowledge in AWS, Kubernetes, Mongo DB, VMWare, AD/DNS.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are a plus.
