N*able has a well-established track record of delivering transformative solutions to businesses in Sri Lanka, enabling them to evolve their operations and technology foundations. Within our strategic focus on several sectors, we are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager – Public Sector.

 

The Role

This role is ideal for someone who has prior experience in this sector and is interested in developing and managing a critical business pillar at N-able. He/she will generate and drive business opportunities for the many technology solutions provided by N-able. 

The most important characteristic is the ability to create and maintain strong relationships with selected Public Sector accounts. The ability to have meaningful, key conversations with the customer C Suite and Business Heads while coordinating with internal technical leads and engineering staff to ensure client requirements are addressed. He/she needs to have a thorough understanding of the Public Sector domain and should be able to identify the requirements and new developments in this sector and drive the correct solutions to meet the customer expectation while achieving company goals.  

The primary responsibility will be to manage selected key accounts in the Public Sector and create new relationships to grow the Public Sector account portfolio. 

 

Qualifications

  • A minimum prior experience of 5-10 years in a similar role is mandatory and an existing account portfolio in this sector would be an added advantage

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to relate to a wide group of technical and business leaders

  • Ability to tell a compelling story around technology to non-technical audiences

  • Ability to drive relevant stakeholders (both internal & external) with urgency to promote business opportunities from one stage to another with a relentless focus on winning and closing the opportunity.

  • Experience and exposure to key IT vendors and technologies

  • Strong negotiation skills across multiple stakeholders from commencement to closure

  • Must be able to highlight and demonstrate excellent follow up and communication skills

  • Proven track record of working on large-scale public-sector projects
