ELV Presales Consultant

The Person we are looking for

We are looking for ELV Presales Consultant who will be responsible for the design, receiving quotation and estimation activities of all the project enquires also he or she will be responsible for conducting site surveys, developing conceptual, preliminary and detailed design for complex, large-scale integrated physical security solutions, including SCS, CCTV, ANPR, Access Control, Gate Barrier, Intercom, Digital Signage, PA and Passive Networking Systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the Sales Team by technically qualifying opportunities and making recommendations on solution feasibility,   quantifying risks and authoring technical bid content.

• Must have experience in technical and commercial proposals, prepare BOQ, Solution writeups, Technical Writeups   and estimation sheet preparation.

• Experience in reviewing CAD drawing and provide inputs to CAD department.

• Send technical requirements to manufacturers/ Distributors/sub-contractors and request a competitive quotation.   Negotiate for best prices and lead deliver systems.

• Experience in below products is of high advantage: Milestone, NUUO, Axis, Bosch, CommScope, Tyco CISCO,   etc (and- or) Equivalent products.

• Candidates with expertise in designing Structured Cabling, Intrusion Detection, Intercom, PABX, Digital Signage.

• Experience in bid management, attending pre/post tender meetings, solution presentations.

• Site survey, meeting clients’, contractors orsub-contractors if required as part of the designing or estimation     requirements.

• Experience in presenting the designed solution/architecture in post tender meetings and solution presentations to     client/contractor.

• Able to manage manufacturers/ Distributors/sub-contractors, establish business relations and do commercial   negotiations.

• Good working knowledge of Excel, Word , PowerPoint & VISIO

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD will be an added advantage

• Undergo trainings and pass certifications as per company requirements

What we require

• Degree in BSc Engineering

• Minimum 5 years in the same field dealing with SCS, IT and ELV.

• The ability to read, interpret and understand specifications and drawings.

• The ability to work under pressure to meet set deadlines.

• The ability to plan ahead, coordinate and priorities workloads.

• Operates with minimal supervision and wide latitude for independent action.
