IRD and N-able sign multi-year agreement for the continuation of RAMIS Call Centre operation

A multi-year, bilateral service agreement for the continuation of RAMIS call centre operation was signed between Commissioner General of Inland Revenue Department (IRD), Mr. H. M. W. C. Bandara and Chairman / MD of N-able (Private) Limited Mr. Buddhike Illangatillake, recently.

RAMIS (Revenue AdministrationManagement Information System) IT infrastructure and Operation: a future proof and efficient revenue sourcing system for the country, was set up by N-able in 2015 together with a foreign entity, transforming manual tax operation at IRD.

The RAMIS call centre operation established by N-able in 2016, serves both internal and external customers. For IRD officers at HQ and regional offices, the system aids with technical issues related to the RAMIS system and provide remote support related to IT infrastructure, including e-registration, e-filing, uploading schedules, assessments, and system navigation support through menus. Currently the call centre handles an average of 50,000 calls per annum with a committed service level assurance.

We look forward to strengthening our partnership during this extended tenure and exploring new ways of enhancing the work of our operations to make it even more efficient and effective for IRD.
