The Role

The person needs to be able to operate, manage, troubleshoot, and fix any service issues in telecommunication infrastructure and its related software, such as session border management systems, VOIP, video conferencing and any other network applications. He/She must be able to perform system monitoring and conduct traffic analysis to ensure the quality of service function.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Three years of experience in telecommunication platforms or Cisco unified communication.
• Knowledge and experience in operation, maintenance and troubleshooting in VOIP platforms.
• Experience in configuring and maintaining Cisco networking technologies including L2/L3 Catalyst and Nexus Switches, VLANs and Routing.
• Knowledge in Linux platform.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting of Telecommunication application events and alerts.
• Maintain and organize reporting information and documentation for management review.
• Good communication skills, specially written skills for preparing technical report and proposals.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and work on 24X7 basis.
• Ability to work with customers and maintain healthy relationships to drive business outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in /Networking/Network Security/Electronic and Telecommunication or related discipline.
• Certification in Cisco: CCNA/CCNP-R&S. Certified in CISCO voice will be an added advantage.
• Certification in Linux platform.
