N-able and Stanchion recently hosted an exclusive executive briefing titled “Enabling the Next Phase of Digital Card Issuing Experiences” at Hilton Colombo, bringing together senior banking leaders and decision-makers to explore the future of digital payments in Sri Lanka.
The event was attended by His Excellency Matthew Duckworth, Australian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, who served as Guest of Honour. Speaking at the event, he highlighted the importance of partnerships that drive innovation, investment, and digital transformation within Sri Lanka’s financial sector.
A key milestone of the evening was the announcement of a strategic partnership between N-able and Stanchion. The collaboration combines N-able’s strong local market presence with Stanchion’s global payments expertise and proven Payment Fabric technology, enabling financial institutions to accelerate the adoption of modern digital card issuing capabilities.
Attendees gained insights into emerging trends shaping the payments landscape, including digital wallet enablement, network tokenisation, Dynamic CVV2 security, virtual cards, and self-service card controls. Discussions focused on how banks can modernise issuing platforms, strengthen security, and deliver seamless customer experiences in an increasingly digital-first environment.
The evening concluded with a networking dinner, providing participants with the opportunity to engage directly with experts from both organisations and discuss the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of digital payments in Sri Lanka.
Through this partnership, N-able and Stanchion aim to support local financial institutions in accelerating payment modernisation and driving the next chapter of innovation in Sri Lanka’s banking sector.
